Brewery Arts Music Makers

Brewery Arts is working with Kendal Calling, Horizon Studios & Brathay to run BAM in Autumn/Winter 2024.

Are you 16 – 24, from the Cumbria/Lancaster area? Do you want the tools to make a future in music production?

BAM will be a series of free weekly sessions at our music venue, featuring Ableton software with guidance from industry professionals to produce your music.

Sessions will include songwriting, performance, digital recording, DJing, producing, marketing, publishing and releasing.

The project will run every Tuesday from 10 September through Autumn 2024 at Brewery Arts, Kendal. Travel and food are included.

  • Application deadline: 22 July
  • Decisions made and all applicants informed: 31 July
  • Sessions begin: 10 September

BAM has been funded by Break the Mould, a young person-led grant scheme, supported by Cumbria Youth Alliance and Lancaster District CVS. The Break the Mould scheme is part of the Francis Scott Trusts 60th-year programme.
