Unstoppable Jamaican rhythms with crazy Cuban brass. Ska Cubano make a welcome return to the Brewery following their incredible sell-out gig in 2008.
New album ‘Mambo Ska’ is ska blended with the very similar rhythms of 1940s–60s cumbia, mambo, mento, calypso, son montuno, mixed with a Cuban wizardry. It blends original, pioneering ska with classic Cuban son and rumba, to create an incessantly upbeat, forward-driving sound that makes you want to get up and dance.
