Welcome to the Brewery Arts Centre. Our venues host some of the finest arts and cultural events in Cumbria. All of our venues are available for you to host your own events.

The Malt Room  is a flexible venue that can accommodate up to 200 without catering (seating up to 120) or 175 with catering. Popular for receptions and parties, it offers a dance floor, platform stage and its own private bar facility. Full of the character of the old Brewery, its intimate feel makes it suitable for smaller groups too.

Our Theatre, re-built in 1993, seats 260 and offers a raked auditorium with an intimate feel and a large flat stage area. It is suitable for events such as talks, lectures, conferences, shows and film. We also, on occasion, use the theatre as Screen 3 for our cinema.

The Warehouse is our brand new arts café bar and cinema is the most original venue in town. Shabby chic meets art house meets cool comfort – a meeting place for artists, audiences and anyone who wants somewhere to feel at home, to read, or to share thoughts, ideas and time with friends and colleagues.
