Another teeming Month at Brewery Arts, May is making us happy with its exciting array of events.
This month’s music programme is bubbling over with diversity and there’s something for everyone! The amazing Orchestra Baobab bring some Senegalese sparkle to Kendal, promising to stir us up with a truly unmissable performance. Get your dancing shoes on for TC and The Groove Family, a 10-piece afro-fusion group; and Snapped Ankles – rebellious electronic genius’ whose on-stage sorcery enraptures audiences. Malin Lewis adds a beautifully quirky twist to our folk offering whilst Granny’s Attic give us a fresh take on the traditional.
Nick Helm, known for his powerful one-liners, is May’s funnyman. Returning with some explosive comedy after years of a more reflective style, he promises laughs-a-plenty.
