Learn to draw big and bold, with confidence and expression in this enjoyable one-day workshop.  Great for beginners and those wishing to inject some life into their drawing.

What will the class cover and how will it be taught?

Inject some confidence into your drawing during this one-day workshop designed to expand your drawing vocabulary and encourage expression.  You will be guided through some different drawing activities covering gestural mark-making, drawing with energy, and using different charcoals, pastels and ink.  Still life objects will be used as source material, as well as working from your imagination, to create a large scale drawing full of life, in either one of the materials or a mixed media piece.  Let yourself go and challenge the possibilities of what a drawing can be.

The workshop will be taught through a series of practical tasks, tutor demonstrations, looking at work by other artists and group discussions.
