With school summer holidays and tourist season in full swing, Kendal is set to be a buzzing hive of activity this August. And Brewery Arts is fully on board! We celebrate the height of the season by bringing Summer Sundays back for another year! Enjoy live music from popular local groups, The Seals, Meetwood Flac and VHS Band along with high energy trio, Edinburgh-based High Fade. August sees two fantastic summer camps taking place at Brewery Arts. A safe space for young people to come and explore creative expression through performance or artistic media. Plus a sparkling new season of Creative Learning goes on sale this month. You will most definitely need your dancing shoes ready for this one. Meetwood Flac11 August | 2-4pm A band of ‘Dreams’ and a ‘Landslide’ favourite… the fantastic Meetwood Flac! This fresh tribute to the legendary Fleetwood Mac, bring all the hits to the stage with all the energy of the original band! VHS Band18 August | 2-4pm Originating from Lancaster in Lancashire, local band VHS have been praised for their high-energy shows. Their all-killer-no-filler set of 80s pop hits ranges from artists including Human League, Tears For Fears, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, ABC, The Police and many more.
