In 2025, Penguin Cafe will bring the music of the legendary Penguin Cafe Orchestra back to life. The UK dates will feature a collection of PCO classics, celebrating the unique sound that has captivated audiences worldwide.

The group is distinct from the original Penguin Cafe Orchestra, despite similarities in genre, name, and even repertoire. The band’s current ten-person line-up was originally brought together in 2009. The group includes musicians ranging from luminaries from The Royal College of Music to members of bands such as Suede and Gorillaz.

In 2010, the group produced their first album, A Matter of Life…. This was released on their own Penguin Cafe label.

Arthur Jeffe says “We’re revisiting it in a way that I don’t think has been done before. It’s important that we keep the principles and ideals very much in mind when we move forward.” about his iteration of his Father’s music.

To coincide with this revival, six original PCO albums are being re-released on vinyl for the first time since their initial pressings. The reissues, courtesy of [INTEGRAL] / Universal Music Recordings, will be available to buy at live shows.
