Young Artists Open Exhibition 2025

Open to all local young artists aged 4-18yrs, to enter Brewery Arts’ first ever Young Artists Open Exhibition. It is free to enter, selected works will be exhibited in the Brewery Arts Sugar Store Gallery from 25 July – 13 September 2025.

The theme for Brewery Arts Young Artists Open Exhibition applicants is: Your Kendal

We invite you to explore your individual experience of Kendal, whether this is where you’ve grown up, moved to, or just visited from time to time. You could take inspiration from the people you spend time with, your favourite corner of the town, beautiful natural spaces, fond memories, a lovely building, or completely reimagine the town in a fantastical way – the possibilities are endless!

Exhibition Timeline:

• 7^th April – submissions open, firstly submission forms must be completed on the exhibition webpage + images sent to exhibitions@breweryarts.co.uk
• 27^th Jun – Final submission date
• 1^st – 11^th Jul – Selection panel view work and make decisions
• 11^th Jul – Artists advised of selection decisions (and awards)
• 15^th – 18^th Jul – Selected works to be delivered to BA between 3pm and 5pm
• 22^nd, 23^rd & 24^th Jul – Hanging / Installation of Exhibition
• 25^th Jul – Exhibition Opens
• 25^th Jul – Private View Event, 4pm-5.30pm
• 13^th Sep– Exhibition Ends
• 15^th Sep– Exhibition uninstalled
• 16-19^th Sep – Collection of artwork between 11 and 1pm
