Coronavirus update – Wednesday 18 March 2020
In light of Government announcements to avoid non-essential contact, the Brewery Arts Centre has taken the difficult decision to close our building to the public from 17th March 2020 until at least 29th March 2020.
The wellbeing of our staff, visitors, artists and volunteers is of paramount importance to us, and given the current national picture it is not viable to remain open to the public at this time.
We will be providing regular updates about our longer-term plans in the coming days and weeks and we will stay connected with our customers, audiences, artists and partners as much as possible during our closure. Please stay tuned to our website and social media channels for news.
If you have booked a ticket or are due to attend an event at the Brewery, our team will be contacting you directly.
If the event is postponed tickets already purchased will remain valid and will be transferred to the new date once announced. If you are unable to make this date, we ask that you consider keeping a Brewery credit with us (valid for 12 months) or you are entitled to a full refund.
If you are in a position to convert some or all of your booking payment into a donation, this would be a huge support as we navigate an unprecedented situation. The Brewery is a charity, and the revenue we normally raise through our cinema, theatre, bars and restaurant supports our year-round programme of talent development, training, exhibitions, workshops, art commissions and other creative projects for people of all ages in Kendal and across Cumbria.
If you choose this option, thank you – from the bottom of our hearts.
Should you wish to contact us about any queries please email boxoffice@breweryarts.co.uk
We hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and well.
