At Brewery Arts, we aim to inspire people of all ages by opening doors to the arts and making it accessible to all.
Our week-long Schools Dance Platform invites young people from across the region to embrace their creativity, express themselves, and perform live on stage.
Last month, our theatre was alive with energy as the annual Brewery Arts Schools Dance Platform took centre stage. Hundreds of children from schools across the region, along with participants from the Brewery Youth Dance programme, came together to showcase their choreography. Each performance told a unique story through movement, exploring narratives such as Mufasa, The Monster Under the Bed, and Feathered Friends.
Brewery Arts Schools Dance Platform is a non-competitive and inclusive celebration of dance, featuring pieces created by local Primary, Secondary and SEN schools, as well as Brewery Youth Dance groups. This event is part of U.Dance First, a national programme supporting children and young people’s dance performance activity.
