Crafting Stories through Writing
Our expanding series of writing courses cast a light on your own lives in memoir, fiction and song. Simon Sylvester returns with a course for fiction writers of all kinds, the Brewery’s own Verbalise host Ann Grant will run a memoir writing group, and we’re very excited to welcome talented musician Anne-Marie Sanderson, whose Storytelling in Song course will explore music appreciation, singing and lyric writing to build your confidence and nurture your voice. Beginners and established writers welcome to all classes.

Have a go at Stained Glass Making!
Due to popular demand, we have programmed extra stained-glass workshops to catch colour from the summer’s sunbeams. Make your own beautiful glass designs under the expert tutelage of glass artist and Brewery tutor Sarah Walkley.

Youth Arts Highlights
Along with all of our usual brilliant classes for young people, our youth theatre groups will light up the stage in a theatre performance in our professional theatre at the end of the summer term. Also on show, Brewery Film Crew, will be learning cinematic techniques which “paint with light” making a short film to be screened in the cinema to friends and family. Summer Camps
Our popular and fun youth summer camps are back again this year with Arts Unleashed and Performance Unleashed. Two action-packed weeks for 7 – 14-year-olds which culminate in an exhibition and a performance. Come for one or both, meet new and old friends, and have something wonderful to show at the end.
