Our new Creative Learning season is here, and we are so excited to share some returning favourites and new classes with you. Our Creative Learning sessions encourage the exploration of new ideas and techniques in a supportive environment, where you’ll meet like-minded people, create memories and find new passions.

Book your place on any class from 11am on 15 August. Members enjoy priority booking from 11am on August 13. Beat the rush by becoming a Brewery Arts Member today!

Workshops

for adults

Our workshops provide hands-on experience designed to engage participants in the creative process and enhance artistic skills. Build good foundational knowledge in our beginner sessions, which include: Introduction to Drawing a Portrait, Introduction to Watercolours, and Introduction to Oil Painting.

Our social workshops are back by popular demand with Art in the Bar, Crafternoon Brew and Untutored Life Drawing.

Arts & Crafts
for adults

Receive expert support as you Discover Pottery Throwing and participate in Drawing for the Terrified. Gain confidence in your printmaking skills during Printmaking for Beginners and Improvers. The Lino Cut Christmas Cards session is perfect for those looking to gift beautiful handmade cards this year. Dark Room Access sessions are brilliant for experienced and professional photographers.

Introduce your little ones to a world of imagination and creativity during our weekly sessions. Some of these include Mini Art Explorers, Clay Club, Mini Movies, Art Explorers, and Artseen. Each weekly class is suitable for all abilities.

New Workshops

for adults

Discover new workshops inspired by nature. Storying a Walk explores sensory drawing inspired by Kendal’s natural beauty. Nature in the Darkroom brings the outdoors into the darkroom process. Nurture your capacity for slow looking, while delving into a variety of printing techniques in Slow, Print, Press. ‘In Real Life’ is a series of new, monthly workshops immersing you in the craft of textured art-forms.
