And just like that – Autumn is here! Luckily, Brewery Arts has your back, as the evenings slowly draw in, with some excellent entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

This month our Live Music music programme ramps back up. Catrin Finch and Aoife Ní Bhriain get things started and magnetise with a stunning collaboration. At the other end of the musical spectrum, 80’s Mania comes to town for a light-hearted, fun night of chart-topping covers and dancing. Not to be missed, Wishbone Ash bring their legendary sounds to the theatre and Clearwater Creedence Revival perform some absolute rock classics in the Malt Room.

Comedy Club is back with a strong lineup for September. Enjoy the stand-up show with a pizza – delivered right to your table!

There really is something for everyone this September. Roald Dahl and The Imagination Seekers engages and excites – perfect fun for the whole family.

Catrin Finch & Aoife Ní Bhriain

A spellbinding collaboration between two musical powerhouses.

Dublin’s Aoife Ní Bhriain and Welsh harpist Catrin Finch, both acclaimed in classical and traditional music, merge their talents in a mesmerizing musical exchange.

Their debut album “Double You” soared to #1 on iTunes Classical Charts and World Music Charts Europe, and #2 on Transglobal World Music Charts. It’s also nominated for ‘Best Album’ in the 6th RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards.

Huey Morgan – The Fun Lovin’ Criminal Live

Huey Morgan, the King of New York, returns with his new band – Huey Morgan The Fun Lovin’ Criminal.

With over 10 million records sold, the former Fun Lovin Criminals frontman will perform classics like “Scooby Snacks” and “King of New York,” alongside new music.

Get ready for a night of funk, soul, hip-hop, and unforgettable memories.

Kathryn Tickell & The Darkening

Thursday 26 September | Doors: 7.30pm | Tickets: £24.50 | Theatre

Named ‘The Darkening’ after an old Northumbrian term for twilight, the band create “Ancient Northumbrian Futurism,” blending traditional and modern elements.

Inspired by their North-East England roots near Hadrian’s Wall, their music explores themes of freedom and nature, bridging ancient melodies with contemporary harmonies and rhythms.

Edward Scissorhands

Stage on Screen remains popular and we have some wonderful shows this September.

Prima Facie by National Theatre Live returns to screens, starring Olivier and Tony Award-winning Jodie Comer in a gripping one-woman show.

For opera fans, a stunning encore broadcast of The Marriage of Figaro by The Royal Opera is on our screens for one night only! Enhance your evening with Prosecco and Canapés, available to enjoy during the interval of this screening. Place your order during the ticket booking process.

The Love That Remains

The Love That Remains is a collection of artworks inspired by the imagery conjured up from the idiom “Weathering the Storm”.

The work is the combined efforts of four artists, working in different mediums and is the physical and interpretive result of weathering our storms.

Our excellent programme of classes offers creative opportunities for all ages and levels of learning. From adult dance classes and beginners’ drawing to craft clubs for kids and mini-movies for tots.

New to our programme this season is In Real Life – a special season of monthly workshops designed to be an antidote to the digital world, immersing you in the process and craft of sensual textured art forms, engaging fully with the physical world to create a unique piece of work. All levels of experience are welcome. Throw away your phone, slow down, be present and make something new. Cyanotype is September’s offering.
