A fun and lively class where you can develop your skills in art, craft and design. Explore lots of different materials and techniques including drawing, painting, printmaking, clay and animation taking inspiration from a diverse range of artists and makers.
About the tutor
After studying Fine Art at university, Ciara Heaton left to pursue a career in community arts. Ciara spent many years working within specialist education, mental health support and creative community groups around the country. She has since moved with her young family to Cumbria to indulge in the outdoor lifestyle, inspiring her to study for a Painting degree, specialising in large abstract landscape pieces. As well as being a practising artist, she has a great passion for making the arts accessible to all.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your own apron or wear old clothes. All other materials and equipment are provided.
Important Information
There are no classes during the weeks beginning 28 October (half term) and 18 November (Kendal Mountain Festival).
