Catherine Young

Instantly likeable, Catherine Young is here to bring you joy! Winner of the Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year 2019, Catherine is quickly making a name for herself as one of the most exciting new acts to come out of the North-East in recent years. From Irish decent, Catherine is a warm, yet fearless, electric act. Her comedy is light-hearted, full of mischievous stories and friendly humour, with the perfect mix of energy, punchlines and emotion. After a career in mental health, and as a singer in the working men’s clubs, connecting with people is at the heart of who she really is.

‘An instantly likeable act, Catherine is a warm yet electric act who can fearlessly play any room, from a theatre to a working men’s club and be totally un-phased. She’s a dream to comedy bookers and a joy to audiences.’ Felt Nowt Comedy.

‘A perfect mix of energy and punchlines’ Shoecake Comedy.

Kate McCabe

Kate McCabe is an American comic who lives in the UK and gigs all over the country.

You can also catch her with ComedySportz Manchester and Murder Inc Improv.

When she is not working professionally as a comic, she also lends her voice to audio books and video games. You may have even been killed by her flamethrower-wielding baddie in Tom Clancy’s THE DIVISION 2.

‘Just a goddam delight’ Manchester Wire

‘Delivers strong material with aplomb’ Three Weeks

Louise Leigh

Award-nominated comedian, Louise Leigh wanted to be comedian when she was sixteen, but it took her until her forties to get round to it. Now, she brings daftness, deftness and some brilliant physical comedy to a stage near you. You’ll never think the same way again about shaving your legs.

“Like the kind of Radio 2 DJ who’d be caught in the gossip columns… Brilliant.” The Wee Review (★★★★)

“Imaginative, brilliant” The Scotsman

Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Finalist 2022

Matt Price

Matt Price has performed in 30 countries, including Turkey, Cambodia, Australia and Russia. He is a big friendly guy from Cornwall. He likes to tell stories, he tells jokes and interacts with a crowd in a way that makes everyone in the room feel good.

Matt also hosts the “Conversations with Criminals” podcast in which he interviews retired criminals and ask them about their lives. It was described in Crime monthly magazine as a “podcast sensation”.

Matt’s stories are from the wilder side of life but surprisingly easy to relate to. Here are a few of the things that reviewers have said about his comedy:

‘One of the best storytellers on the circuit’  ★★★★ Artshub Australia

criminally funny’ ★★★★ The Scotsman
