The perfect gift to buy for Mother’s Day 2025 – tickets to see Pam Ayres, who has spent a lifetime providing hilarious and profound insights into the delights and tribulations of everyday life.  She comes to Brewery Arts to talk about her latest book, Doggedly Onward – A Life In Poems, 1970 to 2020s, published in October 2024.

Pam has gathered her career’s work of poetry into this book, which traces the course of her life, and illustrates how her work has provoked laughter, and some tears, to people around the world.

Recent TV appearances include two series of The Cotswolds for Channel 5, This Morning, Alan Titchmarsh, Countdown and Would I Lie To You?

“Who doesn’t feel warm, sentimental, and downright good when they think of Pam Ayres?    She’s a timeless talent and a glorious people’s poet.” Glastonbury Festival 2022

“If people are fond of me, I am delighted, and I hope I have given a lot of people a laugh, as that is a great experience – to laugh!” Pam Ayres
