After a successful spring tour celebrating their politically charged album Kleptocracy and a follow-up autumn tour, Ferocious Dog is preparing for a special acoustic tour in Spring 2025. One of the stops will be at Brewery Arts on 19 March.

This acoustic tour will offer a fresh, stripped-back sound. The band will showcase a new side of Kleptocracy while also exploring their extensive back catalogue. Additionally, they’ll pay homage to traditional folk songs that have inspired their music from the beginning.

Kleptocracy marked a shift in the band’s sound, adding heavier rock influences and Celtic elements. However, the acoustic tour promises a different kind of intensity. By using only acoustic instruments (with a bit of help from microphones), Ferocious Dog aims to provide a more intimate, raw experience. Fans can expect an up-close performance that highlights the heart of their music.

The setlist will include fan favourites, reimagined with a folkier twist. The band will also perform renditions of traditional folk songs that reflect the same themes of resistance and rebellion found in Kleptocracy. These songs, filled with stories of struggle and resilience, remain as relevant today as ever. Ferocious Dog is excited to bring these songs to life on stage in a fresh way.

This acoustic tour serves as a unique follow-up to the Kleptocracy journey. After their powerful full-band performances, they’re now inviting audiences to experience their music in a more intimate setting. Don’t miss the opportunity to see Ferocious Dog at Brewery Arts as they connect with fans in a nostalgic yet new way, drawing from the power of folk traditions to keep the spirit of resistance alive. It’s a return to their roots—just as ferocious, but with an acoustic twist.

Supporting them will be Brad Dear, a talented folk singer-songwriter from Nottingham. Brad’s raw, husky vocals blend into sing-along choruses and foot-stomping anthems. He tells stories about life’s characters, losing and finding oneself, and running away.
