A new show about extinct, gigantic megafauna from 3-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Josie Long. In these troubled times, it can feel like the apocalypse is everywhere – but did you know 11,000 years ago, car-sized armadillos roamed the earth? And they were vegetarian, so no worries! Also, my daughter has a hamster. I’m not saying distract yourself, but he’s part of everything too.
Josie’s journey to comedy started at a young age. She began performing stand-up comedy at 14 and won the BBC New Comedy Awards at 17. She earned three nominations for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show, with her 2010 show Be Honourable!, 2011’s The Future Is Another Place, and 2012’s Romance & Adventure.
Most recently she has been a contestant on Richard Osman’s House of Games in 2020.
Josie returns with a show about discovery, wonder, extinction, and navigating disaster. Plus, a guaranteed good tip about silt.
