Teaching drama during the week

Robbie is a passionate performer originally from Cumbria. He has recently graduated from Edge Hill University with a first-class Ba (Hons) in Dance. Acting was always Robbie’s passion growing up, after completing his GCSEs he went on to study Performing Arts at Kendal College. His passion never stopped growing while he was being trained in all three disciplines of the subject: Acting, Singing and Dancing. When moving to university to study only dance he never left acting behind. He now specialises in using voice work within performance and dance. His experience in acting led him to successfully obtain multiple roles in dance and acting short films, dance theatre productions and many more performance opportunities where he was commended for his skills when using his voice on stage and screen. He has worked with artists and companies such as; Company Chameleon, Josh Hawkins, Night People, Louisa Robey, Stephanie Laing, Ludus Dance, WigLe CIC, House of Dance, Thickskin Theatre many more. He won a community award and was invited to have afternoon tea with the Mayor of Lancaster for his volunteering work where he helped teach a summer dance club helping the youth of Lancaster. After graduating, he is now Freelancing in and around the Northwest Teaching, Performing, and Choreographing and he has co-founded his own company; Fusion Dance Theatre. Robbie absolutely can’t wait to teach on this year’s summer camp to help spread the joy that performing and acting can have!
