Following the outstanding success of his Winter Yards solo tour, Steve Knightley is thrilled to announce the first tour of his brand-new four-piece band. We’re delighted to bring them to Kendal on 11 November. With the support of his new agency, Midnight Mango, this exciting new venture brings together some of the most talented musicians in the industry. The gig promises a live experience unlike any other.
Steve will be joined by an exceptional trio of musicians:
- David Delarre: A virtuoso guitarist known for his breathtaking technique and versatility. David’s intricate guitar work has been hailed for its ability to traverse folk, classical, and contemporary styles with ease. He is known for bringing both power and delicacy to Steve’s songs.
- Evan Carson: An extraordinary multi-percussionist whose rhythms have graced stages worldwide. Known for his dynamic and inventive technique, Evan brings an overall exciting energy and texture to the band. He loves to blend traditional and modern percussion in a way that creates a driving pulse at the heart of the music.
- John Parker: A true master of the double bass, John is famed for his unique blend of jazz, classical, and folk influences. His extraordinary command of the instrument delivers deep, resonant tones that undoubtedly anchor the band’s sound. While his improvisational skills add an element of spontaneity and excitement to every performance.
Together, these four musicians will bring the intricate sounds and rich textures of Steve Knightley’s five-star reviewed album, Winter Yards, to life in a powerful and immersive live setting. This is your chance to witness yet another milestone in the career of the former Show of Hands frontman.
