The Brewery Arts Centre opened its doors in 1972, when the premises were converted from the old Vaux Brewery – hence the name.
THE MALT ROOM
The Malt Room is a flexible space with a 420 capacity for standing gigs and informal events, 298 fully seated and 150 with cabaret-style seating. There is provision for disabled users at standing gigs
THEATRE
Our theatre seats 263 and offers a raked auditorium with an intimate feel and large flat stage area. This space is used for performance, cinema and live screenings.
CINEMA
Our purpose-built cinema houses two large screens seating 187 and 110.
THE WAREHOUSE
A smaller, bespoke space with seating for up to 30 which hosts intimate stage and screen events and small private parties.
